To operate at our terminal, the following requirements must be met:
- Free Zone User Permit granted by the National Secretariat of Energy (SNE). Strict compliance with all applicable regulations: customs, sanitary, environmental, maritime, industrial safety, among others.
- Acceptance of the Standardized Use Agreement and the Terminal’s Operating Procedures.
- Provision of financial guarantees (when applicable), under clear, transparent, proportionate-to-risk, and non-discriminatory criteria.
Stage 1: Registration
- Contact Costa Norte LNG Terminal’s commercial team to establish the basis for the required service.
- Provide proof of required permits and their processing (as applicable).
- Accept the terms of the Standardized Use Agreement.
Stage 2: Capacity Request
- Indicate the required service(s), volumes, time windows and expected duration.
- For public bidding processes for long-term (more than six months) electricity supply contracts, the Terminal may launch a public process for the allocation of remaining LNG facility capacity. In such a case, evaluation criteria, schedule, prerequisites, and bid formats will be published in due time.
Stage 3: Evaluation and Award
- The Terminal evaluates requests and offers in accordance with the principles established in the process terms and current operational constraints.
- In the case of a public process, the award — full or partial — will be communicated along with applicable commercial conditions.
Stage 4: Contracting and Guarantees
- Execution of the Standardized Use Agreement (or addendum), including: contracted services, capacity, duration, tariffs, financial guarantees (if applicable), assignment conditions, and operating procedures.
- Submission of guarantees and other precedent conditions.
